ABOUT
SAGE Education Consulting
Our name, SAGE, stands for Support and Advocacy for Global Educators. We understand the challenges that come with providing inclusive education opportunities for all students, and we are here to help.
SAGE was established by Aisha Smith, a certified school psychologist who was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. She left home to pursue her dream of becoming a school psychologist at a time when there were none present in her country. There was also a lack of inclusive education opportunities for students with disabilities.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide support and advocacy for global educators through training and consultative services.
Our Services
SAGE offers two primary services to educators to help them provide better support and advocate for inclusivity among students, especially those with disabilities.
These services are:

Professional Development
SAGE is committed to providing the help educators need to improve their support and ability to advocate for students from all backgrounds, including those with disabilities. We do this through the provision of Professional Development services.

"Aisha not only understands theory, but she is extremely realistic in her approach. Furthermore, she showed great poise in working with parents and teachers through the IEP process, making them comfortable with terminology, our level of support for their children, and the potential that the students had.In addition to her role as school psychologist, Ms.Smith co-founded and sponsored “Buddy Group.” This program created a safe space for students of various disabilities to form meaningful friendships while celebrating differences. The children flourished as they participated in activities throughout the year, went on field trips, and spread feelings of acceptance throughout the school. With her help, many students who would have had adifficult time “fitting in” became extremely comfortable in our middle school."

"I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with amazing education professionals for many years in an effort to meet the growing needs of our school community. One of the most impactful leaders in these efforts has been Ms. Aisha Smith. Ms. Smith became a lifeline for our staff, soon providing professional and personal growth strategies that have ultimately supported teachers’ ability to remain resilient despite the challenges that of come with the growing responsibilities of an educator. What I admire most about Ms. Smith is that she is a true advocate for students and families. She is well-versed in the mandates and political jargon often associated with Special Education, but never limits the narrative of students to just test scores, diagnoses, and data. She sees the whole child and all of his/her potential."
